broken english

theres a bunch of foreign people that work here... some of them are from Mexico, some from places in Asia and some from like Russia. They all speak OK but broken English. Even tho their native tounges are different, do they understand each other? Is it harder for someone who speaks Spanglish to understand someone that speaks Chinglish than it is for me to understand either of them? Is "Broken English" a universial language that crosses all borders? Maybe its just one of those things i guess i'm always overthinking.
