if you didnt know this, its crazy shit that pisses me off when ever i think about it. I recently found John K's (creator of Ren & Stimpy) blog which is rad on a daily basis. A lot of his posts have the slight hint of bitterness toward the Cartoon industry, which reminds me of my own distaste for the music industry. In his latest post he talks about even more ways he's been screwed over by the cartoon industry.

These 3 major innovations are merely business innovations, they don't even begin to count the tons of creative innovations that Spumco either started or reintroduced from classic cartoons...

That is seriously fucked up. It's a brutal thing to pursue one's passion in a an evil commercial world. I trained for a career in the operatic world, and I decided the petty biliousness of the industry and countless bitchy queens on the rag were designed solely to kill the joy of music. Thanks for the link to his blog, though. I'll no doubt enjoy it. I like yours, too.
